Beijing Huaifang 600,000t/d reclaimed water plant sludge treatment project

Project profile：

Raw materials and capacity: Sewage sludge, 1220 t/d (with 20% of solid content)
Biogas production: 79,200 Nm³/day

The technical route of this plant is gravity concentration + sludge pretreatment + THP + anaerobic digestion + dewatering by chamber filter pres. PURAC provides an overall process design and system integration consulting service, and at the same time be responsible for core equipment supply and technical services such as commissioning and test runfor the sludge anaerobic digestion system. This project has been running stably for many years. 

The project is located at Huaifang reclaimed water Plant, the capacity of which is 600,000 t/d. The technical route of sludge treatment in the whole plant is that the excess sludge is pumped into the pre-dewatering treatment system after gravity concentration,, and the primary sludge is directly spumped into the pre-dewatering system after grit removal, and then pretreated sludge will be pump into the THP system.

After THP treatment, the sludge is pumped into the digester, and the digestate is dewatered by chamber filter press, the TS of sludge cake  is more than 40%.
